Why I Created The H3 Sales Mastery Series
Like most of you, I fell into a sales career. It wasn’t what I’d planned. But once in, I didn’t want to leave.
As you know, you can make a good living in sales and have a ton of fun doing it. IF you do it right.
And that’s the problem…
I spent a fair amount of time in my early sales career looking for the ‘secret sauce,’ the one or two skills or the overall approach I was missing that was going to help me close nearly every customer at top dollar without any effort at all. I read books, attended seminars, and talked with sales leaders. I never found it.
I had some good success as a salesperson, yet never felt like I was reaching my potential. It took years to figure out why.
Most sales books, blogs, articles, videos, etc. focus on sales skills, and rightfully so. They also focus on saying the right things at the right time - also helpful. But they don’t approach the sales interaction holistically, authentically, powerfully uniquely.
Let me tell you what I mean.
You have unique gifts, talents, and abilities you’ve been given to bless yourself and the world around you.
These traditional sales approaches, methodologies, and skills don’t take that into account. They provide ideas and skills that might work for some people, but maybe not for you. They approach sales as a one-size-fits-all AND they don’t take into account that if you’re not operating authentically and with integrity, the right skills mean nothing (or might actually be manipulation).
